Products origins

Morocco

A factory of approximately 2400 m2 in Agadir for the processing and freezing of local fresh fish, coming from the coasts of the Central-Eastern Atlantic Ocean – FAO area 34. The EU approved factory has HACCP certifications, and exports towards Europe, Asia and North America. Thanks to an advanced infrastructure, the processing room can accomodate several species of fish, from cephalopods to white and includes 3 modern freezing tunnels, which enable to achieve a high quality standard. In particular, octopus (octopus vulgaris), squid (loligo vulgaris) and cuttlefish (sepia officinalis) are the main products being that of Morocco, one of the best qualities in the world. In fact, the raw material is caught by small local fishing boats, particularly in the Dakla region (south of the coast), and processed within 24 hours from catch. The plant’s output is over 2,000 tonnes/year and during the octopus season it reached a production capacity of 20,000 kg per day.

Namibia

We have a partnership with one of the most important companies in the fishing and production of Cape Hake (Merluccius Capensis/Paradoxus) in Walvis Bay, Namibia. A fleet of 5 fishing vessels catching in the South-East Atlantic Ocean, FAO area 47 and docking directly into the factory’s jetty. A production of more than 15,000 m² with a capacity of approximately 40,000 kg of finished product per day, HACCP and IFS certified, capable of providing any hake-based natural product with great flexibility in specifications. Besides the Hake, the fleet also includes 2 boats dedicated to fishing and freezing on board Monkfish (Lophius Vomerinus).

Norway

A partnership with a Norwegian Atlantic salmon processing factory (salmo salar) that produces fresh and frozen fillets and portions in different cuts, with the highest quality standards, thanks to a fast freezing tunnel and a high selection of raw materials directly on the farms of the Norwegian fjords. The factory is BRC, IFS and ASC certified and is able to supply both retail and food service products.
